01Larch & Lane Dental · Calgary

Careful dentistry, in a calm room.

General and preventive care for families and busy people in Calgary. Written plans, honest costs, and nothing rushed. New patients welcome.

02About

A calm way to look after your teeth.

Larch & Lane is a neighbourhood clinic in Calgary for families and working people. If dentists make you uneasy, two promises matter most.

At the oak consultation table, a dentist slides a sheet with a pencil sketch of a tooth across to a patient

Written plans

Options and costs on paper before anything starts.

Take it home, ask what you like, and decide in your own time.

A treatment room made ready: soft headphones, a folded wool blanket and a glass of water on the oak counter, the linen chair behind

Calm options

Quiet rooms, longer appointments, breaks and nitrous oxide. Tell us what makes a visit hard, and we plan the appointment around it.

And at every visit: fees follow the Alberta Dental Fee Guide; we bill most insurance plans directly; same-day space for emergencies, plus evening and Saturday hours; a step-free entrance with free parking at the door.

03New patients

Your first visit, in three steps.

Time to talk, a proper look, then a plan on paper. Bring your insurance details if you have them; we handle the paperwork.

Book a visit

  1. Hello and history

Fifteen minutes to talk about what you want, what worries you and what has been done before.

  2. A thorough look

Exam, photos and x-rays as needed; a cleaning with the hygienist if booked together.

  3. A plan you understand

Options, timelines and costs explained in plain language. Nothing starts until you say so.

04The rooms

Three rooms, one quiet standard.

Every room has a window, a door that closes, and a chair you can sit up in to talk. We planned the clinic so that nothing about the building adds to the nerves you may already have.

A place to arrive slowly.

Somewhere to sit, a real person at the desk, and no stack of forms. Bring your insurance details and Jordan handles the paperwork.

05Services

What we do, and how we do it.

Six services, under the three reasons people come in. The approach is the same for each: explain first, write it down, then start.

The hygienist's counter by the treatment-room window, set for the next patient: a folded linen napkin, a hand mirror, a ceramic rinse cup and a sprig of larch

Everyday care

Exams, cleanings and fillings, on a schedule that suits you.

  • General and preventive care

Exams, digital x-rays, oral cancer screening, sealants and night guards.

  • Hygiene and cleanings

Gentle scaling and polishing, gum-health checks and home-care coaching.

  • Fillings

Tooth-coloured composite, matched to the tooth, usually one visit.

When something hurts

Same-day emergency appointments, and crowns for teeth that need more.

  • Emergency appointments

Same-day care for toothache, broken teeth, lost fillings or crowns.

  • Crowns

Natural-looking crowns for cracked, worn or root-canal-treated teeth, usually two visits.

Cosmetic consultations

A conversation about whitening, bonding, veneers or aligners, before anything else.

  • Whitening, bonding, veneer planning and clear-aligner referrals, starting with a conversation, not a sales pitch.
